Graduate Development

In recent years, Taiwanese society has witnessed the powerful impact of democratization, globalization, sustainable development, and related trends on Taiwan’s political-economic organizations and institutions. In the complex environment of the new century, Taiwan needs a new generation of talent in public policy, financial and economic management, and civil society. Such talent must possess rich knowledge of political science and economics, understand the interaction between politics and economics, have interdisciplinary learning abilities, and apply political-economic theory in different fields in order to analyze public policy effectively, manage political-economic affairs, and guide the sound development of organizations and institutions.

Main avenues for further study:
According to surveys of graduating cohorts, students’ principal fields of further study include:
