1. Handled in accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter Tai-Jiao-Gao (II) No. 1142202576, dated October 3, 2025 (ROC 114).

2. To cultivate foundational humanities and social sciences research talent, the Ministry of Education has issued the “Selection Guidelines for the Ministry of Education Cross-Border Training Program for Humanities and Social Sciences Academic Talent” (Attachment 2) under its Implementation Directions for Subsidizing Cross-Border Training of Humanities and Social Sciences Academic Talent (Attachment 1). The program selects outstanding students for study at internationally renowned universities, expands opportunities to participate in international academic communities, broadens global perspectives, advances academic research careers, and deepens research related to Taiwan's culture and society to strengthen future international competitiveness and distinctive strengths.

3. Applications are accepted from October 15–November 15, 2025 (ROC 114). Interested students must complete the online application and submit materials in accordance with the selection guidelines by the deadline. Selections may be reported as outcomes under the Higher Education Sprout Project’s main program.
