Deloitte Global Employer Services Tax Practice: Researcher and Intern Opportunities

Join Deloitte's Global Employer Services Tax Practice

Recruiting Researchers and Interns

Global Employer Services (GES) helps companies and multinational talent handle assignments, individual taxation, and compliance matters.

From individual income tax and cross-border assignments to global compensation and tax coordination, you will see how companies arrange cross-border work for talent and understand the professional services and practical processes involved from an assignee's departure and employment through their return home.

Whether you are about to graduate or are still studying, if you are interested in tax, multinational companies, or international talent mobility, join the Deloitte GES team to build professional capabilities through real cases and explore your future career direction.

Why Join Deloitte GES?

As multinational operations and talent mobility increase, assignees may face tax, compensation, and filing rules in multiple countries. GES helps companies and employees address individual taxation and compliance matters in cross-border assignments.

By joining GES, you will learn through real cases how salary, bonuses, stock, and overseas income affect individual taxation, and you will gain exposure to multinational-assignment systems and global collaboration processes. Combining tax, data analysis, and cross-border communication, both full-time employees and interns can gradually build expertise in individual taxation and cross-border cases through practical work.

You May Be a Good Fit for GES If You…

At GES, every case may connect different countries, companies, and assignees. If you enjoy engaging with diverse issues, are curious about individual taxation and how cross-border work operates, and are willing to solve problems with a team, you can gradually build an international perspective and professional capability through real cases.

• Want to apply knowledge of accounting, finance and taxation, or business administration to real cases

• Are interested in individual income tax, cross-border assignments, or international-talent matters

• Are careful and responsible, and enjoy organizing information, checking figures, and finding problems

• Enjoy teamwork and are willing to work with English documents and communicate with overseas teams

Capabilities You Can Build and Career Paths You Can Explore

GES work combines tax expertise, data analysis, project management, and cross-border communication. Actual participation varies by position, experience, and project assignment. Full-time employees gradually participate in complete client-service and case-management processes, building the ability to handle cases independently and communicate with clients; interns can begin with data organization, document preparation, basic checks, and team support, developing a practical understanding of individual-tax and cross-border-assignment processes.

• Practice in Taiwan individual income tax and alternative minimum tax filings

• Processes related to work permits, visas, residence permits, and multinational talent assignments

• Fundamentals of cross-border compensation, tax equalization, equity compensation, and taxation relevant to foreign investors

• Project-management capabilities including case-progress tracking, document preparation, data analysis, and risk control

• Ability to collaborate with clients, overseas teams, and government agencies and handle English documents

This experience does not necessarily lead to a single career path. It lets you first build practical experience in individual taxation and cross-border cases and then, according to your interests and abilities, explore different directions such as individual taxation, global talent mobility, human resources, compensation and benefits, corporate finance and tax, and professional consulting services.
