3. Online application:

(1) Persons authorized to use the University's Single Sign-On or course-selection systems must apply through the “Online Parking Permit Application System” at: https://vehicle.nsysu.edu.tw.

(2) During peak processing periods, issuing a parking permit after an online application takes about 15 working days (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays). Please apply early and monitor the application status. Payment may be made only when the system shows “Permit Ready for Issuance”; retain proof of payment to protect your rights.

(3) For parking-permit application and payment procedures, see the “Academic Year 115 (2026) Online Parking Permit Application and Use Instructions” at: https://reurl.cc/LeM7oe.

(4) Beginning in Academic Year 115 (2026), payroll deductions for parking-permit applications will be fully replaced by online payment options through LINE Pay and JKO Pay. Please use these options to reduce on-site queues and collect your permit more quickly. If reimbursement is needed, pay on site and obtain a paper receipt.

4. Paper application: Vendors, continuing-education classes, and applicants replacing a vehicle or permit must complete the prescribed paper forms. Vendors must check emissions-inspection results through the Ministry of Environment website and apply in person at the Vehicle Management Committee, as follows:

(1) Vendors: Complete the “Vehicle Parking Permit Application Form” at: https://reurl.cc/K0zDGe, and attach a driver's license or identification card and the vehicle registration. Applicants must independently confirm emissions-inspection results on the Environmental Protection Administration website.

(2) Continuing-education classes: The responsible staff member must consolidate each class session on the “Parking Permit Application Form for Each Class Session,” available at https://reurl.cc/Ledg5a, and submit it together with the electronic file.

(3) Vehicle or permit replacement: If a parking permit is damaged, lost, or the vehicle is changed, complete the “Vehicle Parking Permit Reapplication Affidavit” at: https://reurl.cc/N08Dk5.

5. Vehicles without a valid parking permit for the current academic year displayed, including vehicles whose replacement-vehicle or replacement-permit process is incomplete, may park only in the visitor parking lot. Motorcycles are free; automobiles are charged at the rates posted at each parking lot.

6. External vehicles, including VIPs, visitors, and temporary vendors, that need to park in the teaching area must register at a control booth to receive a temporary parking permit (limited to one hour). Automobile users may apply in advance for a VIP temporary parking permit, charged daily at NT$150 on weekdays and NT$90 on holidays.

7. To protect users' rights, parking permits must be displayed conspicuously on the vehicle for which they were issued. Please read the instructions on the back of the permit, the University's Vehicle Management Guidelines, and their implementing rules. Parking permits may not be bought or sold privately. Forgery or fraudulent use constitutes the offense of forging a special document; verified unlawful conduct will be handled according to its severity.

8. To strengthen campus safety at night, the Sizihwan gate restricts external vehicles from entering campus from 9:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. the following day. Vehicles driven by University personnel entering campus must display a valid parking permit for the current academic year or present a University faculty, staff, or student ID.

9. To protect you and your vehicle, when the Kaohsiung City Government announces suspension of work and classes because of a typhoon or torrential rain, people and vehicles may not enter or park in the Seawall Parking Lot. Vehicles already parked on campus should be moved promptly to a high, open, safe location to avoid damage.
